Winter Assault

hey spadgy hows WA? i'm installing the patches for dow now so i can install winter assault as i type. I hope its as good as it looks, im looking forward to some fgood ork vs. IG battles. As for cracked, i thought you knew better. Sticklan cant stop it but it wont endorse cracked games warez or any other less than legal endevour.

Kenny, Bill, Faz and all them have a cracked version, Bill (this is Tim Addicoat) usually shows up to StickLan so i assume it can be leeched then

yeh WA is alright, to bad i wont be able to come to the next sticklan though, oh well i will come back eventually. i will have to make sure i come over to vic on a sticklan weekend.

Ok, i was playing DoWWA, and i decided to go against the Imperial Guard for once, so i went Space Marines. Within 5 minutes i was exposed to a full squad of higly trained marines being slaughtered by bitchy guardsmen. I mean, i like the Guard, but this was just sick, they were clearly outnumbered and they still won. What i'm saying is i think this game has balance issues

I haven't played against them yet, but I would like to see how they stand up to Eldar rush techniques. They are mainly about infantry I think, so I think the Eldar will rape them. If the Eldar get raped, then it is REALLY unbalanced.

ive played with every combo except eldar cos eldar are well plain ..... gay.... and i find its fairly well balanced. the IG's are an army that takes a little longer to learn, rather than being able to have a robust force easily IG heavily rely on support. This makes them excellent defenders but slow at advancing because they need to position their tanks for every firefight and place the infantry to mop up the enemy that gets shaken by al the artillery. As for unballanced i want to see what you mean sean: were the IG or the marines outnumbered? who won and was there any other units involved? because i think the games is better balanced than ever im playing WA with patch 1.41.

Yeah the IG get the Baneblade, which does pwn, but you only get one, which sucks little boys. I get the strategy behind the guard but what i was trying to say is i think they might have made them a little stronger than they should have.

Kenny, Bill, Faz and all them have a cracked version, Bill (this is Tim Addicoat) usually shows up to StickLan so i assume it can be leeched then Yeah i got cracked version, suppose that people will be stealing it off me then and that there isnt a whole lot i can do about that :( oh well, woe is me Ok the Baneblade... think of the HQ building in DoW, the Baneblade is a tank of roughly the same size, absolutly covered in guns(by which i mean there is no part of it that is weaponless...) that and it can carry mass amounts of troops.
