So you all know, the next StickLAN is planned to be in Woodend at the Community Centre. We need the larger hall (and superior electrical wiring) as more people have heard of it. I estimate about 60 people at the next lan, if Sparksy and John come through with the people they are bringing. We soon will be in talks with the council to set ourselves up as a youth group, but this means that File Sharing will need to be watched closely... Costs will probably go up to $10/gamer. This is because the hall hire will be tripling when we make the move to the larger hall. If we have the support of the council and we still get the numbers, we will keep the cost of the LAN at $10/gamer and put the money back into the LAN. This way we can get a nice rig to run as a server and such. We'll soon book a weekend in june/july for StickLAN 3. Regards, u8er 1337 Paradoxian. LAN Treasurer.
