||StickLAN|| 6 - Games Poll
Red Orchestra appears at this stage to be the shiny new pet for StickLAN 6, so it is going into the mix, CS:S also has a massive following, so it will be in the mix... We need a few other FPS to flesh out the LAN, but we don't want a million so we spend the time waiting for people to install it. Please section one of the above combinations for other FPSs.

i still think old school cod_uo but i voted for cod 2 and bf2

I dont like BF2, not the game, but we never ever have gotten people to actually play it together on a large scale. Its just too much of a biatch to copy and get working for everyone.... so i say bf1942 and CoD2 (and Red Orchestra such a measly 945mb everyone will have it in half an hour).

Don't get me wrong I do like the game... Just i won;t have a part in spreading it, i'll be doing that with red orchestra, someone else can be the BF2 salesman, I've tried that before... twice and it makes you want to slit your wrists, if only people could get their own copies before the lan.

bf2 is an old game now, so most people should have it, we need an update of peoples system specs. it makes it easier to determine who can and cant play the damb game

Im personaly a older game fan, I still like BF2 and what not but the older ones are still just as fun, same with BF Vietnam that game is nutts, same with VC and COD_UO always a awesome game.....

i've got people who might be coming depending on the games being played. i liked what was done a couple of lans ago where there was a roster thingee and games for prizes were played at those times (i think i'll give myself an honorary mension for coming last. just thinking that before the actual date someone should post up the actual games/versions of said games being played, if not an actual roster. this way people can "hopefully" have the required versions of said games. saves in transfer time and play time. i dunnu, if u wanted to go for the gold star in dedication, premake discs or something with the games on it for stupid people who arn't prepared. face it u are going to get a lot of crap people like me who dont know efficiently what too do, and start whining. maybe some colourful postit notes with big dot point instructions. maybe an information desk or an online support techie(paradoxian) or a pony or a blah blah blah....(more rambling because i'm sure people have skipped this already...)

I was going to quote what you said Etims, but I realised I would be quoting everything you typed. We're figuring the most optimal methods of install and burning a heap of install discs for the LAN. Make sure you have a DVD reader and you'll be fine.

lol sean 'borrowed' my dvd drive the other day... to install the sims :P he didnt have one so he came over to my house and took it out of my computer to use rofl it was funny as :D

hey guys why dont u play Armegetron Advance at the sticklan go to www.armagetronad.net to download it. Its fun and u can play it for hours and still have fun.

wicked! Light cycles! I don't think it will be played as it's a REALLY simple game. We can play BF2 instead!
