Alright you lot, what games will be played at the next LAN (14/1/05-15/1/05)? I don't want to here a list of the la-*test*-('") games rattled off or a list of games that will have only been released that day! I want to hear things like CoD and DoW. Give me about four others so we can all work towards that and not a whole heap of time wasted due to NOBODY actually having the game in question...

COD 2 i agree with just played it for the first time today also a clan based SWAT 4 comp maybe? the few that played at the july sticklan enjoyed that one alot it seems. Dow Winter assault and there has to be an agreement about the battlefield i say 1942 because everyone can play it everyone can get it most people like it and everyone can run it (or there pc isnt lan worthy). If we get into the cray mods and bf2 ppl will complain i think.

Someone play around with the multiplayer settings to ensure it can support many people and such...

You really want a game you can just get into and race. Some of the newer NFSs were about being pritty... Collin McRae Rally was pretty sweet, and was fun in the snow. some kind of rally game would be nice, but I don't know any :P Can old boxens run COD2 smoothly on low graphics? COD was one of the games we could get almost everyone into...

CoD 2 is probably the most efficently coded game i know, or thats the way it seems. so i would think everyone can run it. it loads up in seconds and the graphics have a big range from shit to shit hot. swat 4 i think the max is 16 players, so thats why i say clan battles. but pariah???? wtf it has about as much to do with pariah as kofi annan has to do with the pencil on my desk.

sluggish true but its nothing like pariah, SWAT 4 is the most tech an fps can get, very far from the arcade of pariah.

guys you need to decide what you are doing. CoD is a good game but not every second of the LAN you need games with high player count and quick rounds FPS - BF:V v1.2, SW: Battlefront II, VC2, CoD2, F.E.A.R, Quake 4, CS: Source, DoD: Source, Brothers in Arms: EIB, Doom3 (with 32 player mod), FarCry, UT2K4, Rune: Halls of Valhalla RTS - AoE3, Act of War, DoW: WA, War3 NFS Most Wanted is good and all, but who wants to play a game with just three other people??? It's just a suggestion, it's your lan, your decision.... but no-one wants to play the one game over and over (unless your braindead)

FPS - BF:V v1.2, SW: Battlefront II, VC2, CoD2, F.E.A.R, Quake 4, CS: Source, DoD: Source, Brothers in Arms: EIB, Doom3 (with 32 player mod), FarCry, UT2K4, Rune: Halls of Valhalla CoD or CoD2 will run, depending on which one is easier to get people into. It's mainly about how easy it is for everyone to aquire and get going. CS: Source could do a few runs... F.E.A.R and SWAT4 will be played... Farcry looked pritty, but I'm not sure if it's anything special. RTS - AoE3, Act of War, DoW: WA, War3 AoE3 I hear wasn't too amazing, but DoW: WA and War3 will get a run. I personally feel like a game of War3 with those pansie arse elves... stupid elves. Indeed, NFS sucks. only 4 players? WTF?
