Here are the basic details for the next StickLAN. Date: 14/1/06 - 15/1/06 Time: 2pm Location: Woodend Community Centre Entry Cost: $15 Clans This LAN will have emphasis on Clans. We strongly encourage people to form Clans between 4-7 people. We will place you together on an 8-port switch/hub. Those who don't want in on the Clan fun can still participate in the larger games that will occur over the weekend. Here are the current clans that will be attending: D.E.B.S. Con, Boris, Julius, Tom, Troy BILLY GOATS: Billy, Phobia, Sean F. Pink Terrorists: Sparksy, Paradoxian, etims, AJ and Darren. SKA'D Whitey, Powerslave, Cam, RedLime (more members TBA). In2tech (names TBA). Tell us your Clan and we will add it to our list so we can prepare for your Clan's attendance. Games Here are the games that will most frequently be played at the LAN. We'll see what we can do about patches and such, but bring what you need for a fresh install on these games and everything should work out nicely. Please Note: StickLAN is a multiplayer gaming event, it’s intention is only to allow people to participate in competitive/multiplayer gaming. However, due to the nature of LANs, it is quite possible to download files etc. over the network. Freely available shareware, freeware, demo games and files are available on the StickLAN fileserver, and you are encouraged to get hold of them to enhance your LAN experience. While you may also find sources of download for full-version games etc. on the StickLAN network, StickLAN can not be held responsible for your actions in allowing others to download such files from you, or for your actions in downloading such files from others. We want you all to have fun, but remember, it's your responsibility to ensure the legality of all software and files on your computer, and more importantly, the legality of sharing any files you may make available to others.
