Red Orchestra - Ostfront 1941 - 45
Con and I got this game pretty much as soon as it was released on steam and its AWESOME!! The price works out to be about 35 bucks and you'll need a credit card, though I hear the boxed version is hitting the shelves soon. Whether or not it can be cracked for LAN play I haven't looked into... but needless to say this game would be great at sticklans as the potential for cooperation within teams is huge. For thoes that don't know, RO originated as a UT2004 mod and has now made it to a refined stand-alone WW2 multiplyer fps. What makes this different from the normal shit like cod and moh series, RO has extreme realism. Tanks are crewed by multiple people and play far more like a tank-sim than bf1942 style. The whole thing is like a cross between bf1942, ofp, vietcong and cod-uo... I guess you have to play it to see. Many say the graphics are outdated, but I think it looks pretty nice, especially with AA and AF cranked. yeh i say it has real potential for the next epic sticklan game, which bf2 clearly failed at (for many but unfortunate reasons). This game is more team based than anything ive played before, but yet still easy to learn and play.

yea ill be supporting this game as i watched the trailer and loved it.... once i have money ill get it Now every one get a propper version and keep it updated so then at next sticklan we dont have to deal with ohhh but i cant play it and bla bla bla

Yeah, It's an awesome game... blows the COD games out of the water, at least in terms of gameplay. Problem is Con hasn't been able to crack his warez version for lan play. It would be nice if everyone bought it from steam (only about $30), more than worth it for internet play alone! At least then we could all play it at sticklan. It would be the ultimate team-based fps. If you haven't yet, check out the screens and videos on the net. And I hate to sound like a sales rep - but buy it!
