Pesky Evil Worms
My mum's rig seems to have some nasty worms on it. Trendmicro pointed them out, and I tried deleting them, but they were in use. I tried turning them off in the task manager but it was the typical "access denied". I loaded XP in safe mode and went to run the files themselves, and I couldn't find them. no hidden files or folders or anything under the specified file name at the target location! I defaulted to msconfig and turned their start-up triggers off. Any idea how to delete them? I think one was the sdbot.worm thingy.

Try cyberscrub, if it cant delete something, it will schedule itself to delete it at next re-boot. this would probably be before the worms get a chance to load. If that doesn't work, ....FORMAT!!!!! woooo
