Ok as it says i need parts to build deadicated servers for the Stick lan community so any one who has any thing that is taking up space from case's to mobo ( with a chip if possbile ) ram cd drives HDD's 4g up is help full Remember the more you give the more it help our growing community thanks St Jimmy ( whiteman )

If we get good fedback for the July LAN (Still hasn't been booked, god I think I need to hunt that guy with a tazer) we can just buy a whole heap of stuff... Namely mobo, chip and RAM. See if you can salvage everything else. We kinda need a third person to put up $$$. We need around $500 that should be able to be paid off over the next three LANS. LANS from here in will be $10/gamer+rig. So thirty players =$300. However, without the council, we still pay for hall hire...

I can salvage a fair bit of stuff but we do need a decent dedicated server to run some of the games that require alot more "power" to run them locky could u speak to denis and maybe see if he could help us out with setting up dedicated servers as i know he knows what he is doing and has the tools unlike me i am kinda stabbing in the dark ohhh also any luck with prizes for the next lan ?>

u can have my old 20GB HDD, only thing is it's SLOW, like 5,600 rpm or something...

dude just make sure the hdd on the server is good, but im sure i dont have to tell u that, cos if its slow thats crap sharon.

ok well right now Xp is getting loaded on to the server ( file server ) but i am still in need of a Screen and also a Graphics card nothing flash jsut enough to do the job and thanks to the people that have giving me parts already ur kindness will not go un noticed

I may also have an old 8mb pci graphics card lying around somewhere, I'll have a look when I get home. btw, did u get that HDD from sean?

i have a mx440 that is 128mb only problem is that it somtimes breaks down but it was in my comp for a good 12 months with no worries when me 9800 shit itself and ill be more than happy to donate it to the dedicated server
